Good connection but no signal? Nothing I've tried has worked. Any advice please

Came home from work to find my sky box not working. All lights are on and I've tried all the troubleshooting advice but nothing.

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Hi @Sam501 

Are you getting a No Signal message or a No Satellite signal message or just a blank screen.  If just a blank screen what colour is the Q box led.

 

If you are getting one of the above messages see following.

Work through the following link and if you cannot solve your issue it will lead to booking a Engineer.

If you have a blank screen with red led then

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.
If this turns the Q box on
Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
