Forgotten password

Have purchased a new tv but do not recall password so can't connect to internet and there does not seem to be a password reset option

For Sky Broadband, that's here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/find-and-change-your-wireless-password  

Note that resetting the password may disconnect all your other wireless devices.

To connect a smart TV to an internet router, WPS may be a better option and shouldn't cause any other device to lose connection.
