Fee for weekend callout

I havnt had Sky for a month because there is no satellite signal. I cannot be here to let the engineer in because they work my hours 8am -5:30pm. Now I am being asked to pay £15 for an engineer to come out on their soonest availability on the weekend being Sunday 25th August. I think this is an absolute joke. Sky needs to give me a refund for no Sky service already for a month! Now they want me to wait another month and pay them to come out on the weekend. Absolute joke! Sky swiped all my apps from my TV when they reset it. I will not be paying for an engineer to visit on the weekend.  I will be investing a one off cost from Chromecast or  a Fire stick! Thanks for nothing Sky. Daylight robbery!

@1Sel  When the issue is fixed you can give sky a call and ask about a credit for days without service but not before

Re: Fee for weekend callout

Thank you, they've had plenty opportunity to send an engineer out on the weekend without me paying for their fee. I think they have lost a valued customer, me! It's not my problem that this billion pound company are too tight to part with money rather than gain it from the less fortunate. If that Cromecast device does everything I need it to then, HELLO REFUND, BYE BYE Sky,  No satellite is needed for chromecast or fire stick. Amen 🙏

@1Sel just remember if you are still in a fixed period contract term then you will not be able to cancel unless Sky agree to it.

There is no harm in contacting Sky to see if they will waive the weekend callout fee
