Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI could be wrong but wasn't there reports of legacy entitlements being removed?

About 4 months ago, I renewed my subscription, but I wasn't told the legacy customers would lose packages. I've had no emails from sky.
At least some sort of courtesy would have been nice.
At least I got to see Hamilton throw his teddies out of his pram.

Yep same happened to us, have contacted Sky and all they can tell me is to add sky sports at £20 odd per month. NO THANK YOU. Now seriously considering ditching sky full stop. Paying a fortune monthly for very little and most of the time watching tv via other apps and means. Another example of treating loyal customers (20+ years) disgracefully. Good luck sorting but don't think you'll get it back!

If you mean 'renewed' as agreed a new minimum term/discounts or changed subscription (such as switching to Signature) then legacy channels are lost.
Ideally this should be pointed out but it is confirmed in the confirmation of changes email.

Yup, if you remove the 'Legacy HD pack' (purchased prior to April 2013) then F1 legacy is lost and cannot be restored other than buying a current sports pack.

Same here - no mention of it at all when renewing!
Really not great customer service to be honest

I have just had a conversation with sky customer services as the channel disappeared and I haven't renewed or changed anything. He said there is no way I should have had it even though I have HD package. I feel another call tomorrow where I'm not quite as polite. You really shouldn't have to argue this when you've been a customer for a long time.

I've had email saying the same - errr there seem to be a lot of us that had it but shouldn't have for many years
