Hi,
Just signed back up to Sky, and have a separate Disney+ subscription. I am trying to find a way to use my existing login within sky q, but any Disney+ link in Sky Q just presents a message
"you need to upgrade your subscription"
Do I really need to subscribe through sky to access the Disney content?

In which case, I guess it is possible that software &/or apps are not fully up to date :
To check & refresh if needed follow all the steps on this link (skipping any that are OK) - I suggest you do the refresh app either way:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/apps-on-sky-q-and-glass-basic-checks
Note: ONce you have selected the refresh of app it can take several hours before it happens

No you do not need to subscribe to Disney+ via SKY to use the Disney+ app on SKY Q
I subscribe directly with Disney+ and can use the app with no problem (although I usually use the app on my TV or Firestick to get Dolby Vision etc)
Are you sure you entered the correct credentials that you signed up to Disney+ elsehwere

I am getting no option to log in at all, and no seperate app option on sky q. The credentials aren't the issue as I am not even finding a log in page.
Nothing in the Apps section, and when I search for Disney+ just has the upgrade subscription message.

Software now up to date. I have gone through refresh app process, and will leave now to see if the apps appear.
should they be in the Apps section on sky Q? The only apps there are "Sky" and also "mvmt" , nothing else appearing.
Will update more later.

Yes you should see lots of apps including iPlayer, ITVX CH4, 5, Netflix Youtube Disney+, Paramount+ & more
If you don't get any in the next 24 hours report back & we should be able to escalate to a support team who may be able help further
