Been having some issues with our Sky Q box, it takes forever to change channels if we try to change channel, the screen goes black but we still have audio, maybe in about a minute or 2 the screen goes blue and we lose audio from the original channel. Then the new channel come up about a minute or 2 later. If it comes up at all. Can't access our recordings or catch up tv, on demand or apps, it just times out, sometime we get an error message saying technical fault, sometimes nothing. We have tried rebooting, resetting using the hidden reset, updating software, nothing seems to make any difference. Any suggestions to fix ut?

We contacted Sky in the end, who replaced the box .

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@GaryG64 Have you tried unpluggng the box for around 30 seconds then plug back in?

Mine is happening on my mini box and in recordings it loses sound then freezes.
Turning it on and off isn't really solving the issue. The main box is fine

same issue ( April 24) any other suggestions to correct or is it best to contact sky direct?
