I have a sky Q box and am trying to attach an Ethernet cable to run a booster box to my garden room - when I do this the Wi-Fi drops in and out - we used to do this using the sky box we had previously, with no issues how do I set this up ?

Not sure I understand how the Q ethernet cable relates to the wifi extender? Can you describe a bit more about what is where and what you're teying to acheive?
