Engineer connected to old wires

Hello,

An engineer has been to 'move' is today and connected to the wires that already existed, should he have provided new wires and drilled new holes in to the house?

Also, will a connector for the wires cause a bad connection?

Thanks,

@CrazzyCritter  No they will only replace if it's deemed necessary to do so

the only thing they will change is the LNB on the end of the dish if you are switching from sky plus
