Sky may charge you as it's damaged not faulty. It might be quicker to purchase a new one from a retailer / main supermarket.

Check the following link and it will lead to a form for a replacement remote.

If your Sky Q equipment has been lost, stolen, or damaged you'll need to contact Sky using the ‘Still need a hand’ section to replace your remote. The quickest option is to fill out the online form.
