Downloads queued
When I try to download a programme from the Sky app to my Sky Q box, it gets stuck in Queued and never downloads. I have tried the suggestions I've seen from others users with the same problem but nothing has worked - I have made sure I have plenty of disk space, I don't have anything else downloading or recording, I have restarted the box, and tried Pausing and re-starting the download, but it's still stuck. Any other suggestions?

Hi @Linsey+Jane
Check your Recordings - Most recent section and also the Deleted section in Manage for any failed recordings. Any you find want completely deleting from both sections.

Assuming you're meaning the Sky Go app? Have you tried reactivating this on Q?:
Hit Home > Settings > Status > Watch via Sky Go > Reactivate
Worth a try.

Hi @Linsey+Jane
Delete all the Queued downloads and then
Try a Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.
Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.
Resetting the settings will also reset:
Audio visual settings, such as picture resolution and HDMI control
Settings changed within the hidden engineer menu, include LNB type. If on a communal dish you need to reset the LNB to SCR in the hidden menu. After changing the LNB type you need to reboot the Q box.

I have done everything you suggested and then tried to download a programme again. This time it's stuck saying 'Downloading (0%)' instead of 'Queued', but still won't download.

@Linsey+Jane. I've been having this issue for months, maybe longer! It was on my to do list but I keep forgetting to contact SkyQ about it. It's started irking me now though as my box sets are falling behind on downloading and I'm constantly catching up to the last one downloaded and I have to go to 'manage', everything is queued and I have to manually 'start each download' to kick start it! Even then it only downloads the one I manually started, it just won't move down the queue! I've tried different techniques but to no avail. The other issue I get is that, on the rare occasion the next episode is downloaded, it often goes to 101% but isn't playable. I have to cancel the download (because it still wants to carry on over 101%), it then says it's failed, I then have to start again, from scratch with a new download because, despite saying it was 101%, and me deleting it, it doesn't show in recently deleted! It's a flipping joke! Sadly, nothing I've seen here has worked. xx
Edit: I have a temporary, very temporary, work around. It's tiresome but it works. If you as many episodes as you can, the first will say downloading and the rest will be queued. Go to manage>downloading, go to each queued episode and choose start downloading. When it gets to 4-7%, and without cancelling or deleting anything, choose another queued episode. If you get that far without your eyes 👀 bleeding 🩸, pause the list at the top of the list, then restart the queue. I have found that doing it this way actually works ... but as I said, it's temporary (& tedious) so Sky needs to have a fix, or a better solution!

I have exactly the same problem as Dawn-and like her have tried every suggested fix, including the hidden 0.0.1 fix. Nothing works! Download of Day of. the Jackal is stuck at 86%...The Q on Sky Q box now simply flashes blue constantly. Time for a new Sky Q box...?

Have had the same. The reset seems to have worked but there are still problems where programmes that we have watched for years were "queued" have now disappeared and

Bookish. Current series. Episodes 1-4 disappeared. Episode 1 was queued.....

Rebooted the Q ox by simply switching off and on.
Checked Internet connected. Bookish turned up in full in search.
