hi @Jf30 

 

Do you have the HD add on ? 

If not it could be that the programme you are trying to download is in HD

 

if this is the case you, probably, just need to change your download preference to SD
Main Menu -> Settings -> Setup -> Preferences

(Please note this setting can only be set on the Main box)

I've changed to SD and it still gives the message, I can watch the channel and can record future programs but can't download older ones

If you are using Safari I believe you must make sure that 'Hide IP address' is not checked in settings to be able to see it - if you have difficulty finding that setting then may be try accessing here with another browser
