Double vision picture quality

Hi all first post but really frustrated with picture quality.

On my sky q box in getting a ghosting type image particularly when watching sports channels. For example when watching golf or cricket and the ball is airborne it looks like there's 3 balls there.

Football is the same as players have a shadow around them. Now either fifa have changed the rules and now allow 22 aside or it's my setup... Lol

Anyway back to the point. I thought it may be my old TV even though it was a 4k TV but since buying new TV I have same issue.

Changed multiple settings but to no avail.  Sky signal strength fluctuates between 70 and 80 so don't know if that's the issue.

Anyone got any advice?

Such artefacts are possible with certain tv processing settings but if the problem remains with a different tv it could be the Q box.  Have you power cycled it?

If the problem remains you may need to call Sky for a replacement box.  (Remember to remove your viewing card if so)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Hi @Gazza1862

Have you tried a Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu.

To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.

Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.

Resetting the settings will also reset:

Audio visual settings, such as picture resolution and HDMI control
Settings changed within the hidden engineer menu, include LNB type. If on a communal dish you need to reset the LNB to SCR in the hidden menu. After changing the LNB type you need to reboot the Q box.
