Why do you have to press red button to upgrade,to watch channel 5 on catch up

I think you are getting a prompt due to not having the HD add on - if this is the case then

you just need to change your download preference to SD

Main Menu -> Settings -> Setup -> Preferences

(Please note this setting can only be set on the Main box)
