Disney + synching issue

Help please.

I stupidly went to link free disney + account to.my daughters account in error, which was corrected when my daughter contacted disney + and they unlinked them.

 

My sky app on the phone is asking me to confirm £9 plan which i wont do and assumed above would sort out issue.

 

When I log in to tv disney + as my skyid  app all.seems ok and correct subscription although cant manage the subscription  and when I log into disney + direvtly on my phone all ok.

 

However when I scan the qr code for disney + on tv and it logs in as my details but does not seem to link to sky+ account 

 

Spoke to sky who tried to help and said they would get someone to call me but didnt.

 

Disney + say dont delete account unless you cancel subscription which i cant do anywhere.

 

All suggestions welcome. Best outcome would be to start again but it seems I cant.

Did you have Disney plus before you tried to activate it on Sky. And if you did so did you use old Disney login to activate the sky account? And what account dose it log in with when  you use the QR code on your tv?

Thanks for replying.

My daughter has an account and I logged out of it but when I clicked to activate it offered to link it and I said yes.

 

So we had a chat with disney plus and they unlinked her account and I signed in with my own address. Seems fine on tv mysky app as free , mysky app on phone not so as wants me to confirm £9 charge which im not going to do.

For some reason the app on the phone  wants to charge you for the premium tier. If you go into Disney plus app on you Sky box can you actuly watch Disney plus ? If you go to Sky com web page  and sign in  then scroll down to "Your products " and click on it. You will then get a page title "Manage your Sky". Scroll down that page  and you will see list " Your contact packs" with a list of your actual packs . At the bottom of that list there is a blue square saying  "manage you content packs" click on that.  You now see page titled  " Tv your way". And futher down there is three options click on " app subscriptions ". You will the be presented with page of your app subscrition . On top right you should see the Disney plus one and if you have right subscription  it  should say " Disney+ standard with Ads",  If it doesn't and I suspect it might say "premium " and why it's asking for £9 click " change plan" and you will be presented with list of plans, click the top one  "Standard with Ads  which should say " £0" and the then click the blue box at the bottom of list which should say " Buy standard with Ads". And hopefully that should cure your problem .
I have realised you can do the same above using the" MySky app' on your phone  by going in to "your products " at top of the screen on the right is says  " Manage"  click on that you will then get the same screen I told you about on the web site  "Tv you way" as above click on "App subscriptions " this time  you have  to scroll down the page to Find Disney plus  which as I said above should say  "Disney + Standard with ads" if don't follow the same instructions I have put above to change it.

Hi, Yes I can watch disney plus on tv

 

On the tv I can go to my sky and see the disney plus app which says disney plus with adds £0 per month.

 

The mysky app on my phone for app subscriptions it is asking me to confirm the £9 package and thats and thats the only choice I have.

 

Honestly its confusing how tv says im on the right thing but the myskyapp on phone is not.

 If you go in to My Sky app on your phone and on the home page  scroll down and click on "Your products"  scroll down the page and you will get a list with little icon next to them, of all the products in your Sky package, find the Disney plus icon one it should say "Disney + Standard with Ads" with "All ready yours"  underneath . What dose it say on on yours? Also if you come out of that app and try and login to the Disney + app on your  phone what do you see?

Had a futher thought over night the reason you seeing different results on my Sky on your tv presumably from your Sky box and what you are seeing on the my Sky on your phone is that your Sky box and your phone are on different Sky id's . Now you you can't actually see what Sky ID on your Sky box is on, but on your phone try logging out of my Sky app and then log back in with your Sky id log in details and see if that cures the problem. However if it dose not cure the difference with the two my Sky apps not to worry . Ignor what you my app on you phone is saying and If you use the same login details you used to set up Disney plus on your Sky  box put in to the Disney plus app on your phone , you should be able to view Disney plus on you phone, without any extra charge, what your my app on you phone says will have no affect viewing Disney plus on your phone using as I said as long as use  the same  login in that used to activate Disney plus on your Sky  box.
