Disney Error 1026 Auth service int failure

Normally I watch Disney via my Sky Q box. Today when I tried to open the App I get the dreaded Error 1026.

i have tried restarting the Sky Q box and my router but still get the same error. Can someone help please

Hi Lettice,

unfortunately resetting the apps on my Sky Q box did not work for me. But turning off my router for 30 mins did.

This is a common error across the Sky TV platforms and also other streaming devices.

 

See you have tried a few things.

Some other things to try;

 

Try an apps refresh.

  1. Press Home on your Sky Q remote, then highlight Settings.
  2. Press 0,0,1 and Select to access the Installer menu.
  3. Select Apps then highlight Refresh all Apps

 

Also, try a power off your broadband router and leave off power for a minimum of half hour.

This length of time is what ISPs allow for as a reset pointer for your WAN IP to refresh.

Once your broadband router is back up, turn on your Sky Q boxes and play a linear live tv channel for about five minutes, and then after that try the Disney + app again
