Can’t access Disney+ or HBO

I've been told I can access Disney+ and HBO (with ads) as part of my Sky Ireland package. However when I try to input the six digit code which is emailed to me for Disney, I can't input it on the sceeen. Then when I try to set up HBO, I can't input my DOB, so I can't click CONTINUE. I've tried loads of times. What's going wrong? If I'm paying for these apps, I want to be able to access them. Frustrating.

I can't remeember all the options but when I have been given an 8 digit code I have logged into a browser with My Disney Plus email & password & then gone to disneyplus.com/begin to enter the code which then activates my device

Regarding HBO - the DOB entry is tricky but you don;t use the numeric keys on the remote - just press the enter/select key which should bring up an on screen keypad to navigate & select numbers from

I think to put in your date of birth on the app you click the first square and little number key board comes upon screen and use that to put in your  date of birth not the numbers on your remote.
