Discovery plus sign in

I'm having an issue signing in to discovery plus on my Q box. Just to set the scene my account is working fine and I can login to the app on another tv.

However on Q I get the discoveryplus link instruction and code but when I go to that page on my phone I get to login fine but am not prompted for the 6 digit code to link the sky box. I also cant find anywhere else within the site to link.

To add extra info I'm in Ireland.

Wondering what I'm missing.

Long story short, no.

I have posted in a couple of other threads here where I suspect others are having the same or similar issues.

I am also in the middle of a days long back and forth with discovery plus support that doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Same here  - when I sign in to discoveryplus.com/link and enter my id and password, I see the page where you can enter the link but it is immediately replace by the web page for the discoveryplus.com/gb site 

 

The Discoveryplus support was useless - kept suggesting different devices, browsers but it is more than likely an error on their website

Wow that's how long ago I started the thread and yes a long running email back and forth with discovery's support went nowhere.

I am still unable to sign in on my sky box. Fortunately the app on my LG TV allows the alternative method of signing in with the remote but this won't suit everyone.

But yes my suspicion is that something is wrong with the website. In my own circumstances it looks like my discovery account has set me up as a UK user but I'm in Ireland and the site seems to keep redirecting.

That's probably it - I'm in Ireland too

 

Also, if I sign in to discoveryplus.com and try to look at my account - that doesn't work either

 

The problem seems to be the auto.discoveryplus.com which shows the activation screen fleetingly and then goes to the /gb page

Yes when contacting them there was a whole thing of explaining my issue, even taking video but no help. If you have the discovery plus app, you can access the account info in there and for me at least it says home country: UK.

We had the same. We could only access Discovery+ by going through the access code login each time. 

Today we had a broadband issue and solving that seems to have solved the Discovery+ issue too.

 1. Switch off the broadband router at plug

2. Switch off main Sky Box at plug

3. Switch off mini Sky Box at plug.

4. Wait a few minutes.

5. Switch router back on and wait for three green lights.

6. Switch main Sky Box on and go through restart process.

7. Do the same with mini Sky Box.

 

Once it was all up and running again, our login issue with Discovery+ appears fixed.
