Discovery + error when confirming subscription

When I try to confirm my discovery+ subscription I get the option to confirm at £0 per month. When I choose this I get the following message 'we'll be back soon. Something went wrong, but we are working on this. Please try again later. MYSKY_2306. 

anyone have any idea why this is happening.
