I want to disconnect all the leads that go into my tv and sky box so as I can change my tv stand. I believe I was told not to unplug it at all. Would I have to then get someone out to reset it or if I make a note of which lead goes where will it just rectify itself?

You can safely power it down. Unplug everything and put it back afterwards and power up again.

Thank you. I know this may seem a stupid question but do you mean by power down just turning it off with the remote?🙈

You can turn it all off at the wall and unplug it if it makes it easier to change the TV stand.
You won't lose anything and nothing will need to be reset when you plug it all back in. As you said, just make a careful note of which cable goes where (or take a photo of them all for reference too) and connect them back up later, then plug the Q box back in at the mains and turn it on. It'll take a minute or so to reboot after being turned off but after that you can turn it on and off as normal with the remote control.
