Cracked/broken sky Q mini box

Will Sky provide me with a new mini box for free, if mine is damaged and no longer works? 
If they will charge me, any idea how much it would be?

or can I just buy one from eBay, will it work with the rest of my boxes?

You can't buy one. They're property of Sky. Give them a call. Clearly it's been damaged rather than going wrong but they might not charge you.

@juliealexred cracked and broken is not normal wear and tear so you will have to speak to Sky about the replacement costs

If your Sky Q mini box is over heating develops a fault then Sky will replace the unit but you will still need to phone Sky to report this  for a replacement unit to be sent out.

Sky Q mini boxes are loaned to you so buying one off ebay is a no go as they are classed as stolen and won't work
