Control Samsung hw-t400

I have a Samsung HW-T400 soundbar which I used to be able to control with my Sky Q remote. The remote has decided it won't control the volume on the soundbar, so went to settings-setup-remote control.  Selected Sky Q and control speaker. Picked Samsung and started working through the codes.  This time none have worked?  Anyone know the code?

@Iggy1977If you have a HDMI arc socket on your TV and connect this to your soundbar HDMI input (if it has one), the TV should control the soundbar volume so long as your Sky remote will control the TV volume without any codes needed.

Hi

i had to update the Sky Q box, and my tv.  Also had to get a new Sky Q remote from Sky. I chatted to them online and they sent a replacement which was a voice control one.

then re-setup everything again and the Sky Q box recognised the soundbar.

Good news. Do you mean you updated sky Q box and tv firmware? Or new box & TV? Cheers

Sorry, updated the firmware.

I did all this with the old controller still in use.  I thought no the key solution was the new Sky Q remote which had the voice control button.
