Hi @TripleTea

Have you tried refreshing the Apps in the Hidden menu. To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings. With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box.

Re: Constant freezing and buffering watching Disney

I get the same through the main box. Only happens with Disney Plus through Sky.  Becoming a major problem.

It's a smart tv, and have launched directly via the tv and it's fine.

Re: Constant freezing and buffering watching Disney

It's the hardware it's getting old now and can't keep up with modern streaming our internet is fine it's the sky q box hardware they need to update the sky q boxes but they won't.  now it seems they want everyone to get sky stream which is inferior hardware but it's easy for sky to maintain vs satellite

Re: Constant freezing and buffering watching Disney

I have had to give up with Disney through Sky Q as it constantly crashes. Now I  use my Apple TV box.

Re: Constant freezing and buffering watching Disney

When are sky going to fix this Disney plus issue ?

sky q , hard wired Ethernet , gigabit switch and gigabit fibre.

Disney is the only app with issue and it's been over a year. It's unwatchable .

please sky sort this out!!!!!

Re: Constant freezing and buffering watching Disney

They simply not bothered at all they want us all to use the inferior sky stream which is basically a fire stick if only they would release an updated sky q box all the issues would be solved but they won't because it's cheaper to maintain stream I think there is only 10 years left on the sky q satellite service before we are forced into stream.

@Dillon1 there will be no new Q box

Skys contract with SES who own the satellites runs out in 2029 and the satellites that Sky use will run out of positioning fuel in around 2030 so will be unuseable by that date so its likely that Sky Q and satelitte TV from Sky will be gone by 2030

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Re: Constant freezing and buffering watching Disney

So less time then I originally thought shame looks like sky plans on switching everyone to stream will be sooner rather then later.

Re: Constant freezing and buffering watching Disney

Sky Q is terrible with Disney+ and YouTube.  Constant buffering.  It used to work successfully a couple of years ago.  My BB speed is now 3 times faster.  The other day it was so diabolical, it was like having dial up Internet via the telephone from the last century.  I don't want to have Sky Stream and constant adverts or pay to remove adverts.  Please fix our beloved Sky Q.  I like to record stuff and have a box.  Thanks.
