Connectivity problems after full fibre upgrade and change of router by Sky

I'm a 1st time Sky Community user so here goes.  We have an ethernet network round our home with Sky Q and max number of miniboxes.  We had our broadband line upgraded to full fibre and as part of that Sky engineer came out and replaced our old Draytek router with a Sky brand.  Ever siince we've had constant connectivity issues and, TBH, our local installer (not Sky - own business) has let us down re hos availability.  I'm wondering whether to go back to scaratch and get Sky to come in and do a fresh install round the house using their technology (so I guess WiFi connection) as if we were a new customer.  Any thoughts out there - I'm not very technical!!   I note a discussion late last year on similar issue.

You need to enter the engineer mode on each box and a menu will appear to disable WiFi.

Hover on Settings and hit '0 0 1' and then select to enter it.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Thanks for helping.  I did that on a couple of boxes and it didn't help.  Do I need to do it on all of them??  Does that make a difference?

Yes. They are stupid and don't stick to an ethernet connection otherwise.

Re: Connectivity problems after full fibre upgrade and change of router by Sky

Good morning.  Back onto this.  I am trying to put all miniboxes into wifi disabled mode, as per yesterday's advice.  Frustratingly, I have one box which keeps saying there's no signal and won't allow me to get to the menu, so I can't get to 'Settings' to do the 001 thing.  I've tried rebooting the entire system several times but no joy.  Any ideas what I can do????  Thanks if so!

You can usually hit the home button to get the menu up even  if the mini can't get to anything

@RichS1 Is it no signal or no  satellite signal if its no signal then that would normally mean your TV is on the wrong HDMI source and you  would need to find the TV remote and using the source button flick through the sources to get to the correct HDMI.

If its no satellite signal then Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

then the mini box
