Connection issues

Ny q box keeps losing connection to the router. Happens four or five times a day. 

 

I can't even connect by WiFi or ethernet cable

Should be no issue with Ethernet cable @fedupandfuming 

On main Q box and first carry out a Network reset with the Ethernet connected.
Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Select connect wired to non Sky Router (or Sky router if on Sky Broadband). Do not carry out any WPS and just wait for the box to connect. It may take a couple of minutes. If it does not connect there is an issue with the Ethernet connection or cable.

This reset it for a few hours and then connectivity fails. When you try to reset through thr process you describe the wrong network name appears and connects to that and then drops out and my router csn then be seen but not able to connect to.

 

Then have to reset and start again.

 

Now been on hold to sky for 1.5 hours.

 

Appalling customer service!
