Connecting to sky Q when I move my tv
I want to move my tv and main sky q box but don't know if it has to be connected to a satellite dish

Yes, it does.
It will 'work' for a while (days) without a satellite signal for recordings and apps but will eventually stop completely.
You can buy extension cables for the satellite leads or pay Sky around £65 to move the wall inputs (if viable).

Hi @Richo2511
Provided the new position is on an outside wall and in a reasonable distance to the satellite dish then Sky then you could ask Sky if they will re-locate or install new cables.
Failing that as already noted you can use readily available satellite extension cables.
