Change my if word

I feel I have compromised my I'd word with Sky. I had a call asking my name address and I'd word from a Sky rep. He cut off after I gave the above details

@MAZD1  You need to call Sky to change it.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@MAZD1

Do you mean your telephone password which Sky use to verify you're the account holder?

If you do, call Sky as suggested by @GD1 and when prompted for it say "forgotten it" or similar. Sky should be able to verify your identity as the account holder by other means and then set up a new telephone password with you.

@MAZD1

It's perhaps worth adding that with any calls from 'Sky' (especially unexpected calls) if the caller asks for your telephone password to confirm you're the account holder (which I would expect a genuine Sky agent to do) initially give an INCORRECT one on purpose. If the caller doesn't challenge it then you know it'll be a scam call.

Or from any other business

Not clear what they stand to gain by compromising your sky account - access to an email account possibly to reset passwords on something more important?
