Cant cancel Disney+

Help!

Trying to cancel my Disney+ subscription with Sky. Disney+ website routes me to Sky and there is nowhere in my Sky login where I can cancel the subscription! Been trying to cancel for months and just need to get it sorted.

hi @Tiff84 

 

When you pay for Disney + through SKY I am afraid you need to call SKY to cancel.- you can't cancel online like you can if you subscribe direct.

 

If you need a number then:

If you have the MY SKY app I think you may be able to find a number there - especially if you are a SKY VIP member
If not go this page & scroll to the bottom and expand the link need more help

Why do SKY make it so difficult to to cancel Disney+? 

It is easy to sign uo but alomost impossible to cancel. 

I am abroad in a timezone 7 hours behind UK. I should be able to cancel easily on the Sky website. 

 

Come on Sky - you can do better than this!

Whilst your comment is warranted, you won't see any change to Sky's approach to cancellations - you're going to need to call them, even if you have to wait until you return if that would be 'easier'

Not sure I understand, if your paying for Disney+ within your Sky contract, why are you paying for it separately? Normally all elements of your Sky contract are rolled into one bill

I dont know why, I have c hecked my sky account and Disney + is not listed yet as I mentioned in my initial comment it is being paid to Sky mkt place at 4.99 pm by DD

If that's the case, you may get away with just cancelling your DD

I wish I could answer you,I have no idea why it isnt linked diredctly to my sky subscription perhaps a sky employee can tell me

I am at a loss, I have checked my bank a/c and there isnt a DD set up to pay sky Mkt disneyplus place this payment was taken on the 8/4/25 when I set up the Disneyplus I will wait until the 8th May and see what payment if any is taken

I have the same issue, seriously fed up trying now, bouncing around from TV to website to My Sky app, also phoned Sky last month after being notified of price increase to £9.99, my call was escalated to line manager only to be told that they can't seem to cancel it either ! I was advised it would indeed be actioned but I still see it as active on my account, so I won't be renewing ANY of my Sky packages when out of contract for TV, phone and broadband next year, will be cancelling the whole lot, so much for being a Sky VIP - 24yrs to date but it counts for nothing when you're suddenly faced with idiotic grief like this, the Sky customer 'service' is now beyond a joke. 👎

Sadly not, I've tried all routes with no success, I can view my Disney+ subscription within Marketplace but have no control over it on both website and MySky app, I hit the same wall on trying via my Glass TV using the Sky remote control - which is what the price increase email I received instructs to do to cancel - I just keep seeing onscreen error message with MYSKY_4306 and phone number to call, all advisors I've spoken with have also had problems, every single avenue is blocked, I was even told to contact Disney+ but I've already tried that too, all billing goes through Sky there's nothing to see on my account with both Disney websites. My bank statements show the £4.99 direct debit has been taken monthly separately from my other Sky DD's, but this I can't cancel either, I'm usually able to do so with all other payments / payees that I have set up, but again - no link to click to cancel, so I'm locked into it.

 

When you call Sky customer service you expect them to be able to help you, but this is proving to be an issue beyond their capabilities also, it's insane - just another reason to cancel everything, I've had enough now and like many others I can't wait to be done with Sky for good.
