Cannot pause live tv, rewind and recordings not happening
I can not pause live tv, when I try after about 5 seconds the screen goes blue with the message this channel has a technical fault. Happens on every channel. And my recordings aren't recording

Hi @MattV4
Have you tried rebooting your Q box.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

I have this problem also. Have followed the advice above several time and still no success. Very frustrating. Please advise.

I have had to reset the Sky box every night because of this issue. It only solves it until the next time I press rewind etc then back to square one.
Is there a fix, or is my Sky Q box needing replaced?

I had to have a new main box to solve it sadly. 7 weeks I had until they fixed it. Still no refund due to lack of services in that time as well.

On all channels I cannot pause the TV. If I hit pause the screen goes black.
I also cannot play recordings . When I select a recording and hit play the screen goes blue.

@Karl59 Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions
