Realistically that's the only version which can be there for the price.  'Standard with Adverts' can be upgraded to 'Standard' or 'Premium' by adding a Sky supplement: this should still be a little cheaper than subscription to Netflix directly.

The one thing that's not available is the Extra Member feature for watching on a television set at a different address.

Re: Cancel skytv

You need to call them ASAP. Sky have a 31 day cooling off period, when you can cancel before being held to the minimum term you agreed.

You will need to pay for the days you've had the TV service.

Re: Cancel skytv

I was clearly not following all the changes properly when I saw the email but glad threads and other sites pointed out the recient changes that ofcom made sky do.

I just called today and asked when in the customer retentions and was able to exit penalty free due to the price hike as I was within the 30 day window still. So April will be my last month.

I was asked what made me unhappy and told them of the issues in my contract  mainly releating to discounts was not done properly multiple times and the paramount+ downgrade during contract.

I only had a few months to go but it saves me a bit and I got Now TV for £2.99 for 12 months and paying for boost after my free month trial, yes a month overlap but its not that bad.

Going to save a bit but I been wanting to exit for a while and glad of the changes for sky q.

They had to try to offer me one last deal but it was not much better then what I am paying now. Glad to be leaving.

I seen others say sky q box not required back but they want mine back. To be fair it is a v3 UHD 2TB so they could put it to good use.
