Can’t download a program with remote but can with iphone

Hi, if I try and download a program on national geographic using sky remote it pops up a message saying "press red button to upgrade and watch car sos." I've tried selecting all formats and then selecting SD for standard definition but nothing downloads (it used too).

If I go the the Sky Go app on my iPhone and select the same show it works and downloads to my Sky Q box for viewing!

just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

The default download setting is HD so try changing the format to download in SD

you can change the default to SD by Pressing Home on your Sky Q remote and select Settings, then Setup.
Select Preferences, then 'On Demand default download format', and choose SD. 

 you need to do this on the main Q box

Hi as mentioned i did select SD but it won't download only when i use the phone app.

ive just been into the SkyQ settings as you suggested and have now set the default to SD so will see it that has any effect but for future recordings.
