Hi all, trying to change to a new wireless network on my Sky Q box & keep getting "Unsuccessful connection. Please check your password and try again."
I know the password is correct, as we have connected various laptops/tablets/consoles/smartphones without issue. Sky Q seems to be the only one giving me hassle, any ideas please?

Does your neighbour also have Sky Q?
Sky Q will only let you have one Sky Q main box connected on a network along with only one internal Sky Q mesh
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

Re: Can’t change wireless network
On the assumption that you do not Sky broadband, then Sky Q will connect to the 2.4 GHz band from your router. Check your router, you may have different passwords for the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. All the other devices you mention may be connecting to the 5 GHz band.

Re: Can’t change wireless network
Sorry, it is Sky Broadband I am trying to connect to. My neighbour has kindly offered to let us use her Wi-Fi while our broadband is down (also Sky, but I won't get into that now) 😅

Re: Can’t change wireless network
Firstly, the Sky Q mesh involves the main box node being in charge and designed to only allow it working like that.
Second, Sky do not allow the use of a second Sky Q setup to operate within a household, it is against their T&Cs.

Re: Can’t change wireless network
Okay, thanks for your help. Bearing in mind it's against their T&Cs, I won't bother asking if there's a temporary workaround 😅
