Renewed my sky contract to include Netflix, but can't access it through apps or on demand
opened an account with Netflix put all details in
But end up with sky screen requesting me to choose which Netflix package I require
When a package is selected eventually an error message appears on the screen

Don't know what you mean when you say you have opened an account with Netflix.
If you have Netflix through Sky you do not open an Account.
You need to check on your Q box that Netlix is included in your Package.
You can do this in the Q box Home menu by scrolling down to the bottom of the menu and Selecting My Sky.
In your package check that Netflix or Ultimate TV is included.
