Can no longer access Discovery+ (TNT Sport subscriber)

I have been able to use Discovery+ Premium in the past. My package includes TNT Sport.

But today, when I go to the Discovery+ app, it presents a login screen. I don't have any record of credentials as whatever steps allowed me to access Discovery+  in the past were presumably uncomplicated.

I've looked at other posts here which seem to direct to https://www.sky.com/help/articles/discovery-plus. The link in that article under the text "Subscribe to discovery+ " takes one to a login.microsoftonline.com url which does not recognize my Sky login.

This seems like it should be a simple problem, but I can't work it out. Any suggestions?

TIA

Hi Everyone

This problem has been resolved.

If you click the link in the first post, it will still take you to the wrong article. If you select the link from the main article, you will see that he issue has been resolved.

Thanks again.

Thanks

Hi @Davidp40   I suspect a broken link (confirmed). I have passed on your post, and will report back if we hear anything.

Re: Can no longer access Discovery+ (TNT Sport subscriber)

Thanks for your quick reply.

I suspect you're correct. However I have now resolved the problem as follows:

I selected the Discovery+ App once again on SkyQ. This time (and 100% this is not what happened last time), rather than being taken direct to the sign-in screen, I was taken to an intermediate page which offered me the choice of sign-in or activation. I chose activation, which I couldn't progress as it confirmed I had already linked accounts. Knowing therefore that there must be an existing account, I went back to sign-in, and did a password reset for every email address I own. One of these (not the one I use to log in to Sky) came back with a reset email and I was in. It's inexplicable that neither my well-maintained list of logins nor any of my browser password autofills had any record of Discovery+ - I'm guessing the original activation involved one of the kids, a smartphone, and an urgent need to watch some live-streamed event.

This is possibly therefore my fault. But why can't these things just work? Why do I need to recover long-lost credentials for a product I own within my sub?

Because of the fragmented ownership of the streaming platforms and the impracticality and cost of maintaining any kind of single-sign-on solution for consumer accounts.
