Come on guys, you need to bring back programme reminder function asap. (what were you thinking removing it??) It's just as important to set a reminder as it is to record a programme........especially for live events.

@Shepheil Sky Q never had Reminders so really it hasn't been removed if it wasn't there in the first place waaay back in 2016.
The thing with reminders is you need to know what time the programme starts in the first place to set the reminder.
I usually find that the Home page on Sky Q is full of reminders for Live Events be it Football, Golf, F1, Cricket, Boxing, Darts,
Obviously not the answer you wanted but it ain't going to be ASAP.

It's never going to happen.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreReminders on Sky+ has never been made available on Sky Q.
There have been a few threads on the community since Sky Q launched for some asking why.
You may want to search for and read those.
Sky will not be at all likely in the future to be adding reminders to Sky Q.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@ShepheilI did it the expensive way using a harmony hub and an Amazon cube and a bit of programming.
All I have to do is to is to ask "Alexa" to remind me and it turns the Q box on and either turns the TV on or changes the channel to the one I want if I have the TV on a different channel. I don't watch sports but would be particularly useful for those who just want to watch a map and not days of rubbish before it.
The cheaper way if you just want to be reminded is to get one of the many smart speakers and just ask it to remind you.

or just verbally tell your phone to remind you. Dead easy.
Reminders was a feature needed in 2005. Don't need it any more so 🤷

Q was launched on February 9th 2016 and is now in use by something like 80% of Sky satellite subscribers.
It is 2613 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date.
Or 7 years, 1 month, 28 days excluding the end date.
Or 85 month, 28 days excluding the end date.
I'd suggest this indicates both 'need' and 'asap' are not a relevant concepts.

Such methods are a real help for those who are deaf!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs already stated, it was never on Sky Q and certainly won't be added at this stage. Comcast have very little interest in any updates to Sky Q now.
I may be missing something but how does a visual message that appears on the screen telling you a programme is about to start assist customers who are hearing impaired?
