Brand new box not booting up

Plugged in a brand new sky q box and it isn't booting up and the screen goes blank after sitting on the wait a couple of minutes to set up screen

May I suggest you try a reset of your remote:

Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times

Then try to see if you can get the home screen ( make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared)

If you can them then press 1 & 3 together to go through to pair the remote  with the box and your TV
