Box for return to small

I have received a envelope type return "box" for my sky equipment to be returned in and the sky box doesn't fit in it. It is to small. Anyone else have this issue?

Are you cancelling broadband too, if so that box could be for your router? Providing you’ve cancelled successfully Sky usually send out the returns packaging near the end of a cancellation period, [31 days for Sky Q and 14 days for broadband], to the address that the account is registered at.

You can use any packaging as long as it’s secure and you may want to put a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment that is included. This link explains about how to receive an email with your return labels through Royal Mail.

If you haven’t anything suitable contact Sky again and see if they’ll re-send. Keep your proof of posting very safe and indefinitely as Unipart, who handle the UK returns, don’t appear to be that well organised. Also, if you use Royal Mail’s collect from home service, keep a record of the tracking number.

Re: Box for return to small

As previous post cardboard box sent for return of a mini box is too small and will not hold the unit.

Sky are also asking for the return of two mini boxes when we only have one.

Have you previously had two mini boxes and already returned one?

Either way, as above, you can use any packaging as long as it’s secure and you should put a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment that is included. This link explains about how to receive an email with your return labels through Royal Mail.
