Battery Symbol

I have a battery symbol appeared on the screen. Does this refer to the remote control needing new batteries?

Re: Battery Symbol

In theory yes.

It can come up very early though.

Ours has been showing the symbol since last June (2024) and yet we have no issues with the remote.  It works perfectly when pressed - no issues at all.

Of course we could just swap the bateries, but it seems a waste when they don't need swapping and seeing that the icon only appears on the home screen and doesn't block anything we haven't changed them.
