BT Sport Terms

I am trying to add BT Sport through my set top Sky Q box. It tells me that it will cost £28 per month but doesn't tell me if I am entering a contract for a specific period or whether I can cancel at any time. Can someone help clarify?

Re: BT Sport Terms

Odd, it says on the T&Cs "31 days notice to cancel"

Do the terms you reference include a cooling off period? I can't see them on Sky's website

Hi @freerein

I think it depends on how you start subscribing to BT Sport.  The 18 month contract referred to by @bob1234 I believe relates to when you subscribe as a new customer.

You can only be sure by speaking to Sky directly to add the Sky Sports package,

@freerein as  @oldfella says only Sky can tell you, I logged on as an existing customer and copied from there.

Re: BT Sport Terms

Thanks both. I found the term you were talking about as an existing customer but it doesn't say that when signing up on the sky box. Really confused, think I'll have to give it a miss. The difference between £28 / month that you can choose to cancel and being tied in to a £500 contract needs clarity.

And Sky can clarify if you speak to them @freerein

Hi @freerein   Did you take it all the way through to the confirmation screen? Knowing Sky they will present you with the terms before you agree to go ahead.

Re: BT Sport Terms

I did, the terms for BT Sport were buried in the middle and weren't entirely clear
