I renewed our subscription with everything in place as it was but now none of the apps are working? Displays a message: sorry, this app is currently unavailable please try again later

I have reset the internet connection and router but still not working

Try a repowering of your Sky Q box and a refresh of your apps as described in this Sky help article on Step 3;

Resetting the box didn't work but the software update worked.
