The sky CuBox will not switch on. It is obviously been affected by the lightning strike. This is confirmed as our neighbours have had the same problem. We have spoke to sky and they said they would be sending out a replacement main sky Q box which we have not received, can you confirm when we were received the replacement unit as our house is being occupied this weekend by paying guests and the TV is essential thank you very much

You'll have to call Sky but bear in mind such usage is in direct breach of your contract (6.3).

@Vicarage

Sky have probably arranged a doorstep box swap whereby DPD deliver a new box and take your faulty box away so remember to remove the viewing card from the faulty one however I agree with @PandJ2020 in that you should probably have a business account (most likely at extra cost) if the subscription is being used for payment.

At the very least you certainly can't use that as an argument for higher priority or expedited despatch...

6.3 You agree to use your TV services and the viewing card for your household’s own private domestic enjoyment

and not for any commercial or business purpose.
