Apart from that it's not often used if I'm being honest,
And sure we could always use voice to get to our favorite apps.
Just figured might as well give that button a better reason to use it.
As Q is now several years old I think any changes would have happened by now - although who knows as the one thing thta has changed is the number of apps has grown.
SKY are extremely reluctant to have any user customisable options.
I agree it seems a waste of a button - I am sure some people use it - I don't but there again I don;t use apps on Q anyway.
TBH I feel the use of buttons in general as shortcuts on Q is poor & could have been better
