Hi @Gabruskie   Have a look on Amazon for satellite extension leads.

Sky will likely charge you £65 if extension leads don't do it...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Re: An extension wire

The extension leads idea work fine - I used some temporarily during some building work.

However an alternative might be to leave the sky box where it is and just get a longer hdmi cable to your TV's new location.

When we were having an extension built we lived upstairs for a month - not fun! We were still able to watch sky by using a 15m hdmi cable and connecting it to the TV upstairs. (The box was moved into a corner of the downstairs room away from the builders using the satellite extension leads) The key is that the remote is a Bluetooth device - not infra red - so it was able to operate the box from upstairs through a few walls and a ceiling.

Your choice will probably be based on what is cheapest and/or looks neatest in your room. (You could potentially even hide the Q box out of the way for minimalist look?)
