Amazon music only loading to a black screen

I cannot seem to open Amazon Music, firstly the QR code did not scan, then the web address it gave me to login with was amazon.co.jp/code which is Japanese I am in Scotland.
So sorted that by changing it to .co.uk however now all I get is a black screen any ideas?

After speaking with amandap138a advised this is a known issue with the Amazon Music app and it is currently being investigated.

We also have the same problem, scanned the QR and got the code but after that just get a black screen on our TV

I'm not sure how that is supposed to help solve the black screen problem, you're closing the invite? 

From my end this feels distinctly like a fob off!!
