Against satellite tv ending
I really love my sky Q. But some areas can have sky stream with floorless Wi-Fi but I have don't trust the broadband enough to get sky stream where I live. So when 2029 please think of me not wanting sky stream.
thanks

Re: Against satellite tv ending
Hopefully your broadband will improve by then as I don't see Sky (or their subscribers) stumping up to keep the satellite going.

@Anonymous
Unless a company or individual with very deep pockets stumps up the billions to finance a replacement satellite it's simply not going to happen.
This has been discussed at great length in this thread a few weeks ago

Well unless they can put a stop to broadband outages n be as good as as a satellite dish that would be fab.

Re: Against satellite tv ending
If you're getting broadband outages, change provider. Think I've had about zero in 18 months.
(I assume you meant "flawless" in the OP by the way, and wasn't some new wifi technology that passes through levels in buildings better 😀)

Re: Against satellite tv ending
I was gonna get the 2tb sky Q box but I don't think I'll bother if satellite finishes in 2029.

Firstly, please note that this is a 'user helps user' forum, and I'm pretty sure your fellow users can do little (nothing) with your request. Secondly, even if Sky did hear your plea, I don't think it would be enough for them to arrange for a replacement satellite to be placed in orbit.
