Absurd wait time to have sky Q installed
I'm a sly broardband customer and just phoned up to upgrade to sky Q. After going through the process of deciding the right plan and agreeing on a plan I was told the earliest date for an engineer to come and install it was 6 weeks from now. The person on the phone said to go through with it and then call up customer services to see if they could get it done any earlier to which I said can you not tell me that. She replied no so I've decided to not get sky Q and looking into virgin tv wait time.

Re: Absurd wait time to have sky Q installed
Given we're heading towards the Christmas - New Year break, with the shortest daylight hours and bad weather, that's not entirely surprising, particularly as Sky has been reducing its field workforce of satellite installers.

Re: Absurd wait time to have sky Q installed
Still 6 weeks is a bit ridiculous especially considering how expensive the plans are. I've tried sky stream and wasn't a fan, nothing like sky Q.

Not a lot we can say - it's obviously the next appointment unless a cancellation comes along...
