2 routers
I have a home workshop in my garden that has an Ethernet cable coming from my sky router to the workshop and I'm trying to get my sky q mini box working in here and I have turned off the both Wi-Fi channels and plugged in an Ethernet from the workshops router which is a TP link router with acess point. I still Cant get tv without connecting to the main Q box. Is there a work around ?

Re: 2 routers
hi @Joeymolotov
I am not an expert here but my understanding is that a router in the workshop is likely to be presenting a different network to the mini there which won't work in allowing the mini to connect to the main box which is on a different network
Can you try just using a simple unmanaged switch there instead of a router.
If successful, then the mini can then act as a wifi hotspot, if you need wifi in there - if your provider is SKY then this is on by default , if not by going into the advanced network settings on the main box only (the option is on/off for all SKY Q boxes)
