First get the remote working.
Assuming it's a Bluetooth remote (Ie with a microphone button for Voice control)
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times. This will put the remote into infrared mode which will work any Q box with line of sight.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and see if you can get past step 1 of 2.
If you can then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
