It's disappointing that sky door bell cannot be wired because of the inconvenience to charge up.

Also it takes ages 

During the cold spell and the frequency of activities can affect the battery level significantly.

Sky needs to work on it because my previous Ring doorbell can be wired conveniently. Why can't Sky do the same??  Come on!

Because they've chosen not to.  I suspect the complications involved with installation means wired smart doorbells are a minority product.

Realistically none of the 'Smart Tech' bundle is actually Sky-commissioned hardware: they've bought generic commodity products on the global electronics market.

Edit: actually they bought Neos from Aviva ; )
