Why am I paying insurance and still have to pay am upfront cost of 100 pound to get it repaired. What's the point of the monthly payments.

@Leanne22188 you'll need to provide more information ie what insurance you have and what device you are claiming for etc

That's known as an 'excess' and is a standard component of many forms of insurance.
