I’ve been through the process of buying a Sky Protect ome Insurance policy 3 times over the past 3 days. Each time the process fails saying that Sky is having diffuiculties. I rang what appeared to be an appreopriate helpline number to be cut off because Sky didn’t recognise my ID (I hadn’t been asked for one!). So I tried the chatbot, but it didn’t know what I was talking about.
How do I contact someone at Sky that can fix the purchase process on their website?

OK – I actually found a phone line with a human on it. He told me that there had been technical problems with the website “for a couple of weeks, no idea why it hasn’t been fixed”! I put up with a bad line and multiple background voices for over quarter of an hour. He was asking me to confirm everything I had already written in my online application, line by line.
So far, communication with Sky has been poor, I have to ask myself why I am signing up. This has taken 3 attempts to purchase, 45mins trying to find a way of communicating and over 15mins actually purchasing by phone. Online is supposed to make things easier and less time-consuming! Rant over, sorry folks.
